‘Teen Titans’ Movie Penned By Ana Nogueira In Works At DC Studios


A live-action Teen Titans film is in improvement at DC Studios, Deadline has confirmed.

Set to pen the script, after being tapped by the studio to jot down Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, is Ana Nogueira. No phrase but on a logline for the movie or who shall be producing. A director for the mission has not but been set.

Originally launched in The Brave and the Bold #54 in 1964, the Teen Titans are a bunch of younger superheroes who collectively struggle crime and face numerous villains whereas navigating the challenges of adolescence and their relationships with each other. Led by Batman’s sidekick Robin, the group sometimes consists of characters like Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, and Cyborg, amongst others.

Previously, the comics have been tailored into the animated collection Teen Titans for Cartoon Network/Kids’ WB, which aired from 2003 to 2006 and led to spin-off film Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo. Better identified is Cartoon Network’s animated collection Teen Titans Go! and follow-up theatrical characteristic Teen Titans Go! To the Movies.

Announced because the Supergirl flick’s screenwriter final November, Nogueira first garnered consideration as an actress, with appearances on collection together with The CW’s The Vampire Diaries and Starz’s Hightown. News of the brand new Teen Titans film was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
