MANILA -Inflation within the Philippines slowed down for the third month in a row to six.6 % in April from 7.6 % in March, in line with the Philippine Statistics Authority.
The April print is slower than anticipated, with analysts having penciled in a consensus forecast of seven % and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas 6.7 %.
