We’re slowly inching ahead towards the discharge of ILLENIUM’s fifth studio album, the self-titled ILLENIUM. His new single out as we speak, “Insanity” with American Teeth, carries a theme of self-sabotage throughout the lyrics. It’s a subject, by roundabout means, that ILLENIUM has revisited pretty typically in his work.
“Everything about this song just feels so anthemic to me,” ILLENIUM says of the most recent tantalizing style of his upcoming fifth album, ILLENIUM. “Elijah sounds absolutely epic and killed his performance on this record. It feels so nostalgic and I can’t get it out of my head.” American Teeth’s Elijah Noll is equally happy with the music, which he describes as “a journey through the dangers of living life on the edge.” For him, it’s about “getting lost in a reckless lifestyle and the inevitable chaos that ensues when trying to navigate a relationship.”
