According to USA Today, the lawsuit towards The-Dream was filed in California on Tuesday, June 4. The outlet notes that the singer’s actual identify is Terius Gesteelde-Diamant. The allegations towards The-Dream arrive over ten years after he was accused of assaulting and strangling his then-girlfriend, Lydia Nam, per PEOPLE. According to the outlet, Nam accused The Dream of committing the violent act towards her on April 4, 2013, whereas she was reportedly pregnant with their youngster.
