“I was fortunate to find success in [acting]. I was on 13 Reasons Why and it was really popular and definitely reached a peak in what I’ve had in acting. But it also started to feel like a bit of a job. And I was in a very fortunate position, it was always fun for me, always really inspiring, but then it was just starting to feel like just a job.”
(Um… it is a job. Just like everybody else has.)
Since his ardour for appearing was dwindling, he determined to give attention to the music. Dylan mentioned he and his band at all times dreamed of going “all the way as far as we can.” And now looks like the proper time to just do that. However, which means placing appearing on the again burner. He continued:
“I feel like I’m in a position now where I can just kind of like do that for a while and get this the farthest it can be. The only way that’s gonna happen is if I put my 100 percent time and energy into it and take it very seriously and show the world that we all take this very seriously. This is a real band, we’re going to do real band things.”
His music is “what feels natural and inspiring” for him proper now, in line with Dylan. That being mentioned, he’s not saying goodbye to appearing eternally. It’s only a break! He even deliberate on making an attempt to “do something last year” however then the SAG-AFTRA strike occurred between mid-July to early November 2023 throughout his solely free months to work on appearing gigs.
