Over the weekend, Palmer took to Instagram to share a carousel of images of herself from what seemed to be some current photograph shoots. However, one look she donned within the images appeared strikingly just like an ensemble donned by Whitney Houston in her 1999 music video ‘It’s Not Right But It’s Okay.’
Shortly after sharing the carousel, Palmer returned to Instagram with a brief clip. In the video, she lip-synched over Houston’s vocals on the monitor whereas her background appeared strikingly just like the 1999 music video.

Before her reenactment of Whitney Houston’s ‘It’s Not Right But It’s Okay’ music video, Keke Palmer turned heads with a query she shared for Claressa Shields. As The Shade Room beforehand reported, in March, Shields appeared as a visitor on Palmer’s podcast, ‘Baby, This is Keke Palmer.’
“Now, when are you knocking Remy Ma out? … Now, y’all know I had to bring that up, okay? Because the girls were tussling over the internet. I didn’t know if she was going to get knocked out — I was scared,” Palmer requested Shields.
Ultimately, Palmer’s query for Shields left some social media customers calling her “messy.”
