Wake Up Dead Man Knive Out Mystery Runtime

We’re now 175 days from the return of Knives Out on our screens, with the return of Daniel Craig because the well-known detective Benoit Blanc, who will function alongside a surprising ensemble solid. Dribs and drabs have been slowly launched in regards to the new film, and now we all know its official runtime!

As a reminder on the runtimes of the prior films:

  • Knives Out (2019) – 2 hours 10 minutes (130 minutes)
  • Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022) – 2 hours 19 minutes (139 minutes)

Now, we are able to reveal that the third film could have a runtime of two hours and 24 minutes (144 minutes) in complete. That’s an 11% improve in time from the primary film and practically 4% on the second. 

The information of the film’s runtime follows an extra first look teaser launched via Netflix’s TUDUM, which confirmed the movie’s launch date and included just a few extra frames from the upcoming film. 

At TUDUM 2025, Rian Johnson launched Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery in a skit sequence, which host Sofia Carson kicked off. “The thing we try to do, what we strive for with them, is to keep the audience guessing. It’s really important to figure out new ways, every time, so that just when you think you’ve figured it out, a new twist comes along you weren’t expecting. And that’s what makes these movies special.”

“That’s where you’re wrong.” Josh Brolin interjected, adopted by a number of extra twists with different solid members from the ensemble popping up. Mila Kunis from the group, Kaylee Spaney leaping in, after which Kerry Washington flinging shirts with a T-shirt cannon, and Jeremy Renner upping the ante with two T-shirt cannons. Darren McCormick jumped in on the motion, as did Glenn Close by way of video hyperlink, and finally Daniel Craig launched the brand new clip revealing the discharge date:

Another piece of knowledge we’re nonetheless ready for is the official age score. Both prior entries had PG-13 rankings within the US and 12A within the UK, however with the promise of the third film being slightly darker, will that be upped to R?
