EXCLUSIVE: Cult style filmmaker Richard Stanley, recognized for motion pictures together with Hardware, Dust Devil and Color Out Of Space, has been set to direct horror Steel Donkeys for brand new UK outfit Steel Mill Films, which relies out of Judas Priest guitarist Ok.Ok. Downing’s rock venue in Wolverhampton.
Andrew Prendergast (The Courier) and Phill Cates are producing the script, which has been written by Stanley.
The privately-backed movie charts the story of three younger, small-time crooks tasked with stealing a treasured artefact of nice energy from a mysterious rock star at an enormous music pageant.
