“I’m thinking about the amount of women who’ve probably experienced this, not just on that campus, but on a larger scale in the workplace. This isn’t just happening on college campuses for soccer. This is everywhere. This is systemic. And so I knew it was time to speak about it, and I was terrified, and I’m still terrified. I’m shaking. I feel like I’m a decent public speaker at this point, but I’m scared,” Cooper mentioned.
