“Deceptacon”


Le Tigre initially fashioned in 1998. They launched their self-titled debut album in October 1999. Spin Magazine known as it the most effective albums of the previous 30 years, and Pitchfork known as it the most effective albums of the 90s. I listened to that album lots when it got here out, and 25 years later, I nonetheless hear songs from it in all places, on TV and in films, and simply out on the planet – particularly the track “Deceptacon.” For this episode, I talked to Kathleen Hanna and Johanna Fateman from Le Tigre about how they wrote it, and the way they put the observe collectively.
