A former Indiana sheriff’s deputy died on Wednesday, Aug. 7, reportedly from an accident involving a lawnmower.
According to native TV associates WJTS and WEVV, Amanda Klem was on a lawnmower close to a pond when it flipped, trapped her, and held her down underwater, leading to her drowning.
The Spencer County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Klem’s demise in a Facebook submit on Thursday, Aug. 8, saying that her sudden passing has left a “profound void.”
