“Don’t Dream It’s Over”
Crowded House shaped in 1985 in Melbourne, Australia. They’ve launched eight albums, together with their most up-to-date one, Gravity Stairs, which got here out final month. But on their very first album, that they had an enormous hit with “Don’t Dream It’s Over.”
Crowded House made “Don’t Dream It’s Over” with Grammy-nominated producer Mitchell Froom, who they went on to work with a number of occasions. For this episode, I talked to frontman Neil Finn about how the tune was first written, and the way it developed together with his bandmates and collaborators within the studio. And we talked in regards to the profound connection folks have had with the tune through the years.
