‘General Hospital’ Alum Johnny Wactor Has GoFundMe Set Up By Grandmother To Support Loved Ones After Fatal Shooting

Johnny Wactor, the previous General Hospital actor who was fatally shot on Saturday, has been arrange with a GoFundMe to assist help his family members.

Wactor’s mom, Scarlett Wactor, endorsed the crowdfunding effort opened by her good friend and Johnny’s godmother, Michaelle Kinard.

“I want to raise money for his mother, Scarlett, and his brothers, Lance and Grant to be able to travel the distance of 2000 miles (the many times it may take) to take care of this heartbreaking business which they have been sentenced,” reads the GoFundMe web page.

The fundraiser has a objective of $100,000, of which greater than $35,000 has been raised as of this publication.

Kinard famous that “any excess donations” would “be donated to the charities the family chooses in memory of Johnny.”

Wactor’s godmother mentioned her “heart is utterly broken” and added, “somehow we NEED justice for Johnny!”

Wactor acquired a deadly shot after ending a bartending shift in Downtown Los Angeles. He was reportedly strolling with a feminine co-worker when he seen three males making an attempt to steal a catalytic converter from his automotive.

According to Wactor’s brother Grant, the General Hospital alum noticed the thieves and requested if he was being towed.

“He came across them and he thought his truck was being towed. So he said something to the guys, like, ‘Hey, are you towing?’” Grant Wactor informed the Daily Mail. “And then once he turned around, he saw what was happening and he put his coworker behind him. And that’s when they shot him.”

Wactor appeared within the ABC cleaning soap between 2020 and 2022 as Brando Corbin.
