Squirrels are a typical a part of life and a software I take advantage of to show with each day. For years my college students have introduced me squirrels and advised me about well-known squirrels like President Roosevelt squirrel Pete (for Pete’s sake), Marvel comics Squirrel lady, and not too long ago Ratatoskr the Norse squirrel God. For Squirrel appreciation day I simplified Vahala Calling line dance for the Norse Squirrel God, Ratatoskr.
Norse squirrel God Ratatoskr
Norse mythology facilities across the tree of life Yggdrasill. At the highest is the eagle, and on the root is the serpent Níðhöggr. From treetop to root the squirrel Ratatoskr delivers messages from eagle to serpent and again once more. This squirrel had appeared in Squirrel lady episodes, in addition to within the sport “God of War.” This makes Ratatoskr my high choose for well-known squirrels to function in my dance on Squirrel appreciation day Jan 21.
Valhalla Calling
In Norse mythology, Valhalla is the traditional corridor the place fallen Norse warriors spend their afterlife. The musical group “Miracle sound” was impressed by Vikings and the Norse legends. They spent copious time researching the Norse mythology to create this “composition that pays homage to Viking warriors and their quest for eternal glory.” It can also be my inspiration for a Squirrel God line dance. I noticed the Claudia Arndt line dance and was impressed to simplify it to suit my line dance class.

Begin with vocals 4 partitions.
Section 1 faucet, faucet tripple.
Right foot faucet ahead faucet facet coaster step 1,2,3&4
Left foot faucet ahead faucet facet, hook facet shut flip ¼ to Left 5,6,7&8.
Section 2 Cha and Walk round flip ¼ to proper.
Rt rock ahead cha cha facet ¼ to rt 1,2 3&4.
Lf Walk round flip ¼ flip scallop stroll facet shut 5,6,7&8.
Section 3 toe heal coaster.
Rf 1,2 toe heal coaster step 3&4.
Lf 5,6 toe heal coaster step 7&8.
Section 4 Side rock and Cuban break
RF facet rock 1,2 Cuban break Rf fwd. 3&4.
LF facet rock 5, change to Rf 6 LF Wat ½ flip (7&8).
Repeat from the start.
