Gisele Bündchen’s title isn’t pronounced the way you assume…
In a resurfaced interview with Conan O’Brien from 2005, the Brazilian mannequin revealed that Americans have really been mispronouncing her title since her early days right here within the states! She defined:
“My name in Portuguese is spelled G-i-s-e-l-e, but it’s [Gisele-y]. We say [Gisele-y] in Portuguese because we say ‘I’ at the end of the ‘L.’ Here, you eat the ‘I,’ you know, you only say Gisele. This is the American way, I guess.”
WHAAAAT?! We’ve been saying her title unsuitable this complete time?! Poor girl!!

She recalled coming to the US at simply 16 years previous to pursue modeling, however figuring out subsequent to no English.
