An encampment of pro-Palestinian protesters on the University of Southern California was ordered to disperse this night by Los Angeles police, who declared an illegal meeting.
Those not obeying had been arrested, and a few members of the gang who left had been seen blocking visitors on close by streets. Reports point out not less than 30 protesters had been taken into custody.
Police in riot gear arrived within the early night after a day of protest at USC‘s Alumni Park. The authorities created a skirmish line as dozens of different protesters are refusing to depart on Wednesday evening.
The USC protests add to comparable actions at Columbia University in New York and the University of Texas at Austin, amongst others, as school college students have staged sit-ins and different actions to protest the Israel-Hamas battle.
