Usher Slams Content Creator For Accusations Of “Thanking Devil”


Whew! Usher took the time to pop off on a content material creator this week! The singer, who usually swerves innanet rumors, slammed the creator for suggesting he tried to thank the Devil throughout a current speech. In his clapback, Usher made it clear that was not the case.

Here’s What The Content Creator Said About Usher

In a video created and posted by Instagram person Mark Hanalla (@youwontbelievemeofficial), the content material creator means that “Usher almost thanked the Devil for his award on live television.”

The creator continued, “How is no one talking about this? I mean you can’t make this up. Watch this.” 

The feedback are a voiceover on a video of Usher’s NAACP speech earlier this month. He received within the ‘Entertainer of the Year’ class.

During a second in his speech, he paused initially of a phrase starting with the letter D. He mentioned, “I’m very honored to be able to receive this amazing award from the de…from the depths of my soul.” 

In the remark part of the creator’s publish, Usher slammed the claims, affirmed God as his “lord and savior,” and defined the pause in his speech.

“Get the hell outta here!!! GOD is my lord and savior…the DEVIL is a lie!! You got me f**ked up!! Not today sir…I never have time for this type sh*t but today, you gon hear this. So I was a bit nervous and jumbled my words when speaking from my heart…” 

Usher continued, explaining that he “hates teleprompters” and through his speech, that they had began to hurry him.

“Everbody gets nervous, especially in this position. I was thanking the N Double A C P and shift to the depths of my soul…when my words got mixed. The devil is always at work…don’t let him use my boy. You terrible for even tryna share this.”

As of Tuesday, the creator’s video remains to be out there and gathering feedback on his Instagram web page. It was first posted on March 21.
