Lauren London Talks Her “Intentional Healing Journey”

Lauren London sat down for an unique interview on ‘TODAY with Hoda and Jenna,’ which aired on Wednesday, November 8. As the dialog unfolded, the 38-year-old shared that she is on a “very intentional healing journey.”

“I feel like after going through something very traumatic… it opened me up to everything that ever happened in my life, and so instead of being so vulnerable, I’m like cracked up,” London defined. “I cannot go back to who I was in the past; I just have to keep going. So I’ve been on this very intentional healing journey for four years now.”

London acknowledged that as folks, “we are always evolving.” However, the actor famous that in this time in her life, she is being “extremely conscious” about her evolution.

As The Shade Room beforehand reported, London misplaced her partner and father of her youngest son, rapper Nipsey Hussle, in March 2019. The rapper was gunned down outdoors of his clothes retailer in Los Angeles, California. Since then, a person named Eric Holder has been sentenced to 60 years to life in connection to the rapper’s dying.

The Actor Shares How Experiencing Grief Has Impacted Her Parenting

As the dialog continued, the 38-year-old defined that grief can really feel very isolating. However, speaking about it collectively can permit one to really feel much less alone. The mom of two defined that she’s been “extremely open” concerning the “grief process” together with her youngsters.

As The Shade Room beforehand reported, London shares her eldest son with rapper Lil Wayne.

“I think I’ve been extremely open with them about the grief process as well, as much as I can,” London shared. “But also, I’m just extremely intentional with them and really conscious of how I’m influencing them and how I’m showing up for them.”

The actor added that experiencing grief has made her “more compassionate now as a mother,” and he or she’s even doing inside youngster and teenage “work” to know her youngsters higher.

“I always say they deserve a happy, healthy, joyful mom, and I don’t want to rob them of that experience,” the 38-year-old acknowledged.

Lauren London Shares How She’s “Protecting” Her “Peace”

Before wrapping the dialog, London shared how she “protects” her “peace.” The mom defined that she says “no a lot” and has turn out to be very intentional concerning the tasks and roles she aligns herself with in her appearing profession.

Outside of her private life and profession, the actor can also be getting ready to launch her third attire assortment in collaboration with Puma. The assortment is named “Protect Your Peace” and is a mantra London says is “really important now” with how she’s residing her life.
