Sometimes life actually does imitate artwork. In an Aug. 29 Instagram slideshow, “And Just Like That” star Sarah Jessica Parker revealed that she’d truly adopted the kitten that her character, Carrie Bradshaw, rescues within the present. In the second season of the “Sex and the City” sequel, Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez) provides Carrie the cute grey feline, and Carrie provides it essentially the most Carrie Bradshaw moniker of all time: Shoe.

In her Instagram submit, Parker shared that the kitten’s “off-camera title is Lotus.” She added that “his siblings have been all given botanical names after they have been rescued as newborns by the @cthumanesociety,” and revealed that Lotus was “adopted formally by the Parker/Broderick household in April 2023.” The kitten joins Parker’s two different cats, Rémy and Smila, whom she adopted in May 2022, Parker added. “If he appears to be like acquainted, that is as a result of he’s,” she concluded her submit.

Parker shares the cats along with her husband Matthew Broderick, whom she married in 1997. They have three kids: James, who was born in 2002, and twins Tabitha and Marion, who have been born in 2009.

The second season of “And Just Like That” concluded on Aug. 24. It contains a long-awaited cameo by Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), in addition to loads of further drama.
