Announcing the Winners of the 2023 Alfred P. Sloan Script Competition at Carnegie Mellon University.

The School of Drama proudly declares the 2023 awardees within the Alfred P. Sloan Script Competition at Carnegie Mellon University for the perfect screenplay furthering the general public understanding of science and expertise.

 

Sally Seitz

First place ($25,000):
TOO MANY FISH IN THE SEA by Sally Seitz

Heartbroken, hometown marine biologist Hollie Ryan desires nothing greater than a change of surroundings post-breakup, however her plans to depart Little Cayman Island are interrupted by the fast recolonization of the invasive lionfish.
