Foo Fighters has formally discovered a brand new drummer to fill Taylor Hawkins‘ large sneakers … making the massive announcement over a 12 months after his tragic loss of life in Columbia.
Dave Grohl and co. stuffed followers in on the brand new addition Sunday, saying throughout their livestream “Foo Fighters: Preparing Music For Concerts” that Josh Freese is dealing with percussion for the group going ahead.
Freese has been drumming because the 80s, beginning his prolonged profession at Disneyland as part of a Top 40 cowl band … then becoming a member of The Vandals in 1989, and jamming out with different teams like Suicidal Tendencies Infectious Grooves because the years went on.
He’s since contributed to a ton of artists and teams as a session participant — together with Rob Zombie, Lana Del Rey, Bruce Springsteen, Danny Elfman, and Weezer.
