Blur Play New Songs And Rarities At First Show In 8 Years: Setlist, Videos

Two days in the past Blur introduced The Ballad Of Darren, their first album since earlier reunion effort The Magic Whip in 2015, and shared its lead single “The Narcissist.” Tonight they’re enjoying their first full live performance in eight years in a location significant to the band’s historical past. Way again once they have been college college students, Blur frontman Damon Albarn met Blur guitarist Graham Coxon in Colchester. They’ve returned to the English city to play the Colchester Arts Centre tonight.

Even earlier than the present was over, the complete setlist had appeared on setlist.fm. They began the present with the debut of The Ballad Of Darren monitor “St. Charles Square.” Other stay debuts on the setlist embody “The Narcissist” throughout the encore and, throughout the principle set, Modern Life Is Rubbish monitor “Villa Rosie.” Below, watch some footage from the present, together with snippets of “St. Charles Square.”

Also, right here’s an interview with Blur in regards to the Colchester gig on the UK’s Channel 4:
