The Washington Nationals reinstated outfielder Corey Dickerson from the injured checklist Monday
Right-hander Cory Abbott and infielder/outfielder Jake Alu had been optioned to Triple-A Rochester. Abbott was Washington’s twenty seventh participant on the roster for Sunday’s doubleheader in opposition to the New York Mets.
Dickerson, who turns 34 on May 22, was positioned on the injured checklist through the first week of the season after a left calf pressure. He was hitless in three at-bats by way of two video games to start out his first season with the Nationals
