Vijay Varma’s character in Dahaad is a tribute to chameleons and snakes, right here’s why


Dahaad is already making waves due to its charming new trailer, which has an ensemble forged embodying their characters to a T. In this felony drama, Sonakshi Sinha and Vijay Varma interact in an entertaining cat-and-mouse recreation as they fight to determine the thriller surrounding the unusual deaths of 27 ladies. Vijay Varma excels in his half because the thriller antagonist of the sequence, capturing the evil vitality of his persona not simply through his efficiency but in addition by way of his properly chosen wardrobe and refined physique language.

Vijay famous working intently with the sequence’ costume designer. He mentioned “The outfits were very meticulously designed. The costume designer, Smriti Chauhan, worked very closely with me, because I felt and wanted to base my character on a reptile-like energy. So all my shirts have a vertical pattern on front or back to create an illusion like a chameleon or a snake. This is one of the improvisations that I did with my character, apart from digging deeper into watching crime-thriller documentaries suggested by Reema to understand the psyche of Anand.”

Directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, Dahaad is all set to launch on May 12.
