‘S.W.A.T.’ Canceled After 6 Seasons at CBS



One of CBS’ longer operating dramas can be saying goodbye in simply a few weeks.

The community has introduced that S.W.A.T. will finish its run with its present sixth season. That implies that the remaining episodes, a two-parter, will function its finale, ending on May 19 at 8/7c.

It begins with “Forget Shorty” on May 12, wherein SWAT groups up with the DEA, led by Mack Boyle (visitor star Timothy Hutton), to conduct a large gang sweep, solely to find {that a} vicious cartel is planting roots within the metropolis and endangering quite a few lives. Plus, Hicks (Patrick St. Esprit) marks an necessary anniversary.

Then in “Legacy” on May 19, the crew works with the DEA and their iron-jawed chief, Mack Boyle, to cease a ruthless cartel boss waging conflict on the streets of Los Angeles as he exacts revenge on those that killed his son.

The community has renewed Blue Bloods, Bob Hearts Abishola, CSI: Vegas, The Equalizer, FBI, FBI: International, FBI: Most Wanted, Fire Country, Ghosts, NCIS, NCIS: Hawai’i, The Neighborhood, So Help Me Todd, and Young Sheldon and ordered Tracker to sequence for the 2023-24 season. Decisions about East New York and True Lies have but to be made.
