Good Guys Podcast
John Stamos is dropping a juicy piece of “Full House” trivia, revealing he received Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen canned from their debut performing gig … once they had been simply infants!!!
The actor spilled the tea on his pal Josh Peck‘s “Good Guys” podcast … saying he made the decision to chop them out whereas filming the sitcom’s pilot episode — the place his character, Uncle Jesse, and Dave Coulier‘s Joey needed to watch child Michelle.
It’s a fairly hilarious scene, exhibiting the two guys caring for the toddler whereas realizing nothing about parenthood — however John says the taping wasn’t a laughing matter.
Instead, he tells Josh and his cohost Ben Soffer that the twins had been crying up a storm whereas hosing them off and altering their diapers.
He was instructed the opposite twin would not cry once they had been swapped out between takes, however it wasn’t any higher … and John admits he made the decision it simply wasn’t gonna work. He says the Olsens received the boot, and a couple of different infants had been used.
Of course, their firing solely lasted a couple of days, with John admitting the brand new child batch was fairly dangerous, too … and as you already know, the Olsen twins went on to stay round for the subsequent 8 seasons of the hit sitcom.
John giving the kiddos the boot? How impolite?!!
