Apple TV+ will not be shifting ahead with a second season of Dear Edward, because the Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights) drama collection has been canceled after one season.
As reported by Deadline, the streamer has opted to not choose up a second season of its freshman drama, which was created by Katims and primarily based on the novel by Ann Napolitano. The collection premiered on February 3, 2023, and ran for 10 episodes.
Dear Edward revolves round 12-year-old Edward Adler (Colin O’Brien), the lone survivor of a devastating airplane crash that takes the lives of each different passenger, together with his household. I really wanted to maintain her sense of being a pretty funny gal. I wanted to maintain her sense of lightness and levity, even though she’s going through such a dark time.”
