Recently, the information of Dhadak 2 starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri was surfacing in all places. Now, Filmmaker Karan Johar acknowledged that his manufacturing home Dharma Productions will not be making the movie.
Karan took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday and wrote, “To put this on the file and for all involved we (Dharma Productions) are NOT making a movie with the title DHADAK 2 as is being reported in varied articles…”
On Monday, it was reported that Dhadak 2 will function Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri in lead roles and it will likely be directed by debutant filmmaker Shazia Iqbal. It was additionally mentioned that Karan is all set to make Dhadak right into a franchise.
Meanwhile, on the work entrance, Karan is all set to mark his comeback as director after seven years with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahan alongside Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The movie is slated to be launched in cinemas on July 28.
