A Starz crime drama sequence, Power Book II: Ghost stars Michael Rainey Jr, Mary J. The present begins with Tariq St. Patrick (Rainey Jr.), a freshman at Stansfield University with a brilliant future forward of him. He can be the embodiment of his father’s goals if not for the double life he’s dwelling. In the third season, Tariq is set to get his belief, get again to his household, and get out of the sport for good. A brand new connection interrupts Tariq’s plans and places him, Brayden (Paolo), and Effie (Lapri) again into enterprise with the Tejadas. When Brayden brings Tariq in as an intern at his household’s hedge fund, the drug enterprise expands past Stansfield and onto Wall Street. Monet Tejada (Blige) is keen to pay a value to avenge her firstborn and maintain the remainder of her youngsters – and the enterprise – in line as she works intently with Davis MacLean (Smith) to resolve Zeke’s homicide and maintain the feds off her path. A staggering reveal forces Tariq to reckon with a betrayal from these closest to him…and a R.I.C.O. investigation mounting, pulling Tariq deeper into the enterprise and nearer to the legacy of his father.
