Prior to learning at Elmhurst, 19 yr previous Lydia attended Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, the place she was chosen to carry out with the English National Ballet in Swan Lake on the Royal Albert Hall, in addition to St Petersburg Ballet in Don Quixote in Paris.

As a scholarship scholar, Lydia joined Elmhurst Ballet School on the age of 12 and through her time she gained:

  • 2015 Elmhurst Ballet Solo Competition performing Dance Concertantes by Sir Kenneth Macmillan
  • 2016 Musicality Award on the Cecchetti Classical Ballet Awards, Sadler’s Wells
  • Semi-finalist on the 2015 Royal Academy of Dance Genee Competition
  • Appointed Head Girl at Elmhurst Ballet School from 2015-16
  • Olympic Torch Bearer at first of the 2012 Olympic Games in London

Lydia speaks eloquently about life as a ballet scholar, her ardour for dance, working with acclaimed choreographers, the significance of dance historical past, the work required within the studio, balancing research with making ready for all times as knowledgeable dancer.
