Gwyneth Paltrow testified in her ski harm trial she initially thought the person whom she says got here up from behind her and collided along with her was committing a sexual assault.
Paltrow is on the stand, and gave the jury her account of the accident on a Deer Valley ski slope. She stated she was going slowly when immediately, she heard “an odd rustling noise” behind her.
She says the skier — Dr. Terry Sanderson — got here up from behind and his skis went in between her legs, together with his physique urgent into her again. Gwyneth stated she froze and received upset.
During her deposition, Gwyneth testified she thought she was being sexually assaulted, and Sanderson’s lawyer picked up on that in courtroom, asking “Did if it was an intentional assault of a sexual nature? Was he grinding or thrusting? What made you suppose it was a sexual assault?”
She answered, “It was a fast thought that went via my head. There was an odd grunting noise and a physique behind me so I used to be attempting to make sense of what was happening. My thoughts was going in a short time.”
