The Securities and Exchange Commission is cracking down on Crypto corporations … and a few big-name celebs — together with Jake Paul, Lindsay Lohan and Soulja Boy — who praised the foreign money corporations whereas getting paid with out disclosing it … and so they’ve agreed to cough up some dough to make all of it go away.
Jake and Lindsay are among the many celebs named within the SEC’s filings Wednesday … they’re charged with illegally touting Tronix and BitTorrent. Others charged embody Lil Yachty, Ne-Yo, Austin Mahone, Kendra Lust and Akon.
The SEC says these celebs didn’t disclose they have been getting paid for selling these corporations.
Almost all the celebs agreed to pay a complete of $400K to settle the fees.
