The WE WILL DREAM: New Works Festival is a biennial occasion that locates the Bayou Road hall of New Orleans because the “national meeting place” for Black playwrights originating/working within the American South to interact with compelling, inventive, mental, and cultural dialogue and neighborhood exploration. The competition’s aim is to function a bulwark of help for the skilled and inventive improvement of Black playwrights. The Virtual Festival provides fourteen weeks of competition highlights from the comforts of your individual residence. Programming runs from March nineteenth via Juneteenth.
