The ALMA radio telescope, the biggest on the planet, situated 5,000 meters above sea degree within the Atacama Desert (Chile), celebrated its tenth anniversary.

It revealed quite a few sky secrets and techniques throughout this time, akin to the primary {photograph} of a black gap.

On a dry, brown plateau surrounded by rocky peaks, dozens of white, metallic giants punctuate the panorama, transferring their enormous, round heads in several instructions throughout the sky.

They are the 66 antennas of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), the biggest telescope on the planet.
