A unadorned protester drawing consideration to Ontario’s plans to develop parts of the Greenbelt was kicked off stage by Avril Lavigne throughout Monday evening’s Juno Awards.
On Monday night, as Lavigne was chatting with assembled company on the Edmonton occasion, a topless protester appeared on the stage behind her.
The message “Save the Greenbelt” was written on their physique.

In November, Ontario introduced plans to permit for 7,400 acres of the protected Greenbelt to be developed into housing. The transfer has sparked backlash from opposition events and environmental advocates.
