Cartoonist Karl Stevens ‘Blown Away’ by Mother Nature’s Depth

Stevens, who’s the cartoonist behind Penny: A Graphic Memoir, stated that he was blown away by the depth of the characters in Curtis’ debut graphic novel. “I used to be instantly blown away by the depth of the characters, the right mix of motion and gore, the pressing ecological message, and the way all this stuff would translate superbly right into a graphic novel,” Stevens is quoted as saying within the press launch. “It’s a pleasure and privilege to work with Titan Comics and Blumhouse on this challenge.
