Good information, unhealthy information for Jordan Spieth on the Players Championship on Friday — unhealthy information: his tee shot was so off course, it hit a spectator. Good information: the unintentional contact knocked the ball again onto the green — avoiding touchdown within the drink!!
The wild second went down on the ninth gap at TPC Sawgrass … when a struggling Spieth’s drive headed straight for the water.
What are the percentages?! @JordanSpieth’s tee shot was heading into the water earlier than his ball hit a fan and ricocheted again within the fairway.
It doubtless would have made the distinction in Spieth making the lower @THEPLAYERSChamp. https://t.co/W3dqAnl30I pic.twitter.com/IRiHzRS30N

Luckily for Spieth — and unluckily for the fan — the ball drilled the attendee proper within the knee … and it ricocheted again onto the green with an ideal bounce.
Here’s the place it will get even crazier — Spieth was on the verge of lacking the lower on the ultimate gap … and a bogey or worse may’ve sunk him.
As it seems, the ball’s touchdown spot helped the star end the opening with an eagle — leaving him comfortably inside the lower line.
@JordanSpieth made certain to test on the fan and gave him a glove @THEPLAYERSChamp. pic.twitter.com/pNn2o7FHZr

The story has a fair happier ending, as Spieth gave the fan his glove as an apology/thanks present.
Spieth completed the spherical +3 … and is even by means of two days of competitors.
If luck retains coming his approach, maybe he can shoot up the leaderboard and end robust!!
