Mitch McConnell was hospitalized Wednesday night time, this after he took a spill at a Washington D.C. lodge.
The Senate Minority chief was having a personal dinner on the Waldorf Astoria when he tripped. According to his rep, David Popp, McConnell fell … and apparently fell arduous.
Popp mentioned the 81-year-old Republican “has been admitted to the hospital the place he’s receiving remedy.”
McConnell’s situation was not disclosed, nor had been specifics concerning the fall, however he was not admitted to the hospital for remark … he was admitted for some type of remedy.
The Kentucky lawmaker had an identical accident in 2019 when he tumbled to the bottom at his Louisville dwelling and fractured his shoulder.
McConnell is the nation’s longest-serving Senate Republican chief. He was first elected to the Senate in 1984 and served as majority chief from 2015 to 2021.
