“Still”
Kenny Beats is a hip-hop producer who’s been making beats and producing songs for different artists since 2010. He’s obtained an extended listing of collaborations, with rappers like Vince Staples, Freddie Gibbs, and Denzel Curry. In 2022, he did one thing he wasn’t actually ever anticipating to do, which was to launch an album of his personal. The album is named Louie, and it’s a tribute to Kenny’s father.
I talked to Kenny concerning the music “Still,” the primary music he made particularly for this mission. It options visitor vocals from JPEGMafia and Omar Apollo, and a pattern from gospel singer Linda Kemp. Louie consists of loads of tracks the place you’ll be able to hear Kenny’s dad’s voice, and although “Still” isn’t one among them, as Kenny explains, his relationship together with his dad is embedded within the music’s DNA.
