CAMDEN, Arkansas — Lockheed Martin’s cell rocket launcher plant in Camden, Arkansas is gearing as much as increase manufacturing of the HIMARS system after its success on the battlefield in Ukraine drove up demand from different nations, executives stated on Monday.
The High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) is now a widely known weapon after cell phone digicam footage of the conflict in Ukraine confirmed the launchers in motion.
“When you’ve gotten a fight confirmed system that’s on the market and within the information – every day – then that is driving that demand,” stated Jennifer McManus, the vp for operations of Lockheed’s missile enterprise.
