Last month, Superchunk launched a brand new single, “Everything Hurts,” the A-side to a 7″ that features a pair of songs leftover from 2022’s Wild Loneliness. Today, that 7″ is out, as is its different half “Making A Break,” which Mac McCaughan described in a press release as having “What A Time To Be Alive energy.” A number of weeks again, longtime Superchunk drummer Jon Wurster introduced he was leaving the band, which signifies that except there are some already-recorded but to be launched tracks within the pipeline, these songs are the final that Wurster will play on.
