The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) plunged over 100 factors to shut under 6,700 on Wednesday, following an identical selldown in Asia and Wall Street in a single day.
The PSEi fell 1.5 %, or 101.73 factors, to six,699.23 whereas the broader All Shares index misplaced 1.17 %, or 42.25 factors, to three,579.36.
This comes after US shares noticed their worst day in two months as traders brace for additional rate of interest hikes within the coming months.
PSE knowledge confirmed 1.34 billion shares valued at P4.93 billion altering fingers whereas internet international promoting jumped to P752.34 million.
