Prime Video’s “Harlem” is again for season two, following the most recent misadventures of our favourite core 4: Camille (Meagan Good), Quinn (Grace Byers), Angie (Shoniqua Shandai), and Tye (Jerrie Johnson). The dramedy’s second season, which premiered on Feb. 3, picks proper again up the place the season one finale left off with Camille and Ian’s (Tyler Lepley) epic reunion as a pair. This season, the present explores extra happenings within the ladies’ careers, love lives, and every thing else in between. But viewers are already asking for one more season. And quiet because it’s stored, so is the forged.
“We executed heard some issues already,” Good tells POPSUGAR. Even creator Tracy Oliver teased some tidbits about her plans for a 3rd season, which has but to be green-lit. “We began the season three author’s room this week,” she says days earlier than “Harlem”‘s return. “Fingers crossed, if it will get picked up, you guys will get to see these concepts.”
One factor Oliver says she’s excited to discover if/when “Harlem” will get renewed for one more season is “the concept of being a single mom by selection” — which is hinted at with Tye, who embarks on her egg freezing journey in season two. “I really feel like there’s only a rising variety of ladies that aren’t ready for the suitable scenario or the suitable man or girl to return of their lives,” Oliver explains. “They’re similar to, all proper, I can present for a child. I’m prepared for it. I’m simply going to go about that journey alone. I believe that there is one thing actually highly effective about it, and I’m excited to perhaps discover that subsequent season.”
According to Oliver, she approached season two by each listening to viewers suggestions from season one — “as a result of I believe it is necessary as an artist” — and drumming up storylines that “I like and that make me giggle.” But her final objective for persevering with “Harlem”‘s reign, which doubles as recommendation for fellow creators, is to “take dangers and go together with your intestine.”

Considering “Harlem”‘s star-studded season two cameos — which embody Sherri Shepherd, Rick Fox, Rachel True, Lil Rel Howery, and Countess Vaughn — a visitor look from Bassett would not appear unattainable.
