The band’s newest single “We’re More Than This” could be very totally different. It’s not hardcore in any respect. It’s not even rapcore. It’s only a straight-up rap track, with guitarist Dez Yusuf rapping extraordinarily nicely over the band’s laid-back reside instrumentation. Here’s what Yusuf says about it:
When we first began writing for the document, Anaiah and I had bounced the thought of perhaps doing a little jazz or R&B songs and placing some raps on the document. I do know Satchel and Anaiah had jammed out some totally different concepts that I hadn’t actually been current for.
