London art-punks Squid performed Scala in London final evening, and half their set consisted of songs from their newly introduced album O Monolith. That is sensible; a part of the album’s creation story is that Squid workshopped the fabric on the street after coming back from lockdown. However, one tune from the brand new LP made its debut on the Scala present, a prolonged and discursive post-rock epic known as “If You Had Seen the Bull’s Swimming Attempts You Would Have Stayed Away.” Watch them play that one beneath.
