The late, nice Loretta Lynn died in October at age 90, ending a legendary profession in nation music that remained very important nicely into previous age. To honor Lynn on tonight’s telecast from LA, the Grammys recruited Kacey Musgraves — a Recording Academy favourite who gained Album Of The Year in 2019 — to cowl Lynn’s signature tune, “Coal Miner’s Daughter.” It kicked off a collection of tribute performances stitched collectively as a part of the bigger in memoriam phase.
