(Opinion) The preliminary accusation by Senator Marcos do Val (Podemos) that he was coerced by Jair Bolsonaro (PL) to hold out a coup d’état has strengthened the discourse of right-wingers and the Liberal Party itself to distance itself from the previous head of the Executive.
Some perceive that the denunciation provides extra arguments to reorganize the conservative motion and allow a nationwide management for the 2026 elections with out having Bolsonaro as a protagonist.
