Panama will apply for the Transisthmian Colonial Route as a world heritage web site


The Panamanian Government will apply to Unesco (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) to acknowledge Panama’s Transisthmian Colonial Route as a world heritage, the Presidency of this Central American nation knowledgeable at present.

The Palacio de las Garzas, the seat of Government, mentioned that the postulation would come with within the first part of the Transisthmian Colonial Route, the San Lorenzo Castle, the Camino de Cruces, the Casco Antiguo and the Archaeological Site of Panama Viejo.
