Restaurateur Luca D’Angelo, one of many founders of Miami Beach’s first Neapolitan pizzerias, Fratelli La Bufala, has opened a brand new restaurant within the metropolis’s Sunset Harbor neighborhood. The new house, Casa Bufala, delivers D’Angelo’s tackle a contemporary trattoria and pizzeria that showcases Italian consolation fare like flippantly fried, stuffed zucchini flowers with creamy lemon ricotta, and home made ricotta cheese gnocchi served with lobster. The menu additionally options wood-fired pizzas, freshly ready in-house with buffalo mozzarella. For imbibers, an expansive listing of cocktails highlights Italian liqueurs, from the “Amalfi Breeze” made with Bombay Sapphire gin, Luxardo maraschino liqueur, tonic water, lemon juice, and contemporary rosemary to the “Hugo Spritz,” a darkish spritz made with elderberry syrup, prosecco, soda water, cucumber, and mint. Known because the Crown, the restaurant’s menu presents the regional fare of the Mediterranean, married with basic European dishes ready utilizing native components. Ink Entertainment Group, whose manufacturers embody Akira Back, Amal, and Byblos, has opened its latest restaurant and lounge rooftop idea, Level 6. Located within the coronary heart of Coconut Grove, the venue gives views of Miami and Biscayne Bay from an inviting rooftop escape perched on the sixth ground above Amal. The 4,000-square-foot house capabilities as a lounge and restaurant, with a menu that provides elevated Spanish delicacies, curated music and leisure programming, and handcrafted cocktails. Featured menu highlights embody Spanish charcuterie with sourdough bread, ibérico chorizo, ibérico salchichón, pickles, crème fraîche, tuna tartare with avocado, lavosh crackers, truffle and crème fraiche, and paella de mariscos made with Argentinian shrimp, langoustine, clams, and lemon. Signature cocktails are infused with flavors from native herbs and fruits, and there is a sturdy number of rosé and glowing wine choices. Sunday by way of Wednesday 5 p.m. to midnight, and Thursday by way of Saturday 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
