Song History for “Where Stars and Stripes and Eagles Fly.”
The tune “Where Stars and Stripes and Eagles Fly” by Aaron Tippin was initially set to be launched in 2000, however his producer didn’t really feel it was a match for that album. After being shelved and forgotten, it was launched as a single two weeks after 9/11/2001. All the proceeds from this single went to the Red Cross to assist the households from the 9/11 tragedy. This tune stays an excellent patriotic tune so as to add to your 4th of July playlist my favourite line dance.
Why the Statue of Liberty?
Inspiration for using the Statue of Liberty for this movie got here from the tune line “There’s a lady that stands in a harbor for what we believe.” The Statue of Liberty was impressed by the liberating of the slaves in 1865. Her crown with 7 rays lights the way in which to freedom. A torch clasped in her right-hand representing progress and lighting the trail to freedom, and a pill in her left-hand symbolizing regulation. The pill is etched in roman numerals with date of the Declaration of Independence, July 4,1776. Originally referred to as “Liberty lights the way,” she steps ahead with a damaged shackle on her ankle symbolizing the break with slavery. This statue was revealed to the world on Liberty island in 1886.
Inspired by Goddess Libertas.
This Lady isn’t just Royalty, however a Goddess. The Statue of Liberty bears the resemblance of the Roman Goddess Libertas. She is the Goddess of Liberty with a historical past of liberating slaves. Her legacy started in Greek mythology. From there she traveled to Europe, Columbia, and is embodied int the Statue of Liberty positioned on Liberty Island in New York. Join this Patriotic Princess with a enjoyable line dance!
